Lake House has two completely private guest rooms with expansive views of the lake and native bush. Both rooms have double doors leading to a private deck furnished with a table and chairs.

The rooms have flat screen TV, DVD and CD players, a fridge, plunger coffee, a range of teas and homemade biscuits. Bathrobes and pool towels are provided and a selection of books DVDs and CDs are available. The beds are made up with Egyptian cotton sheets and pillowcases. Each ensuite bathroom has fine Egyptian cotton towels, lavender toiletries, a hair dryer and heated towel rails and mirrors.

Guests also have the use of the large drawing room for tea or drinks or just to curl up in with a good book. There is also a pretty cloakroom and we provide a wireless internet link for guests’ computers.

The Green Room is furnished with a super kingsize bed and the ensuite bathroom has a bath with power-shower over.

The Yellow Room can be made available with either a kingsize bed or twin king singles as desired. The ensuite bathroom has a full walk-in shower area with power-shower and hand rails making it suitable for disabled guests.

Meals – Breakfast is served either in the dining room or on the covered deck, depending on the weather. Choose from fresh juice, local fruit, muesli, yoghurt, porridge, toast and/or a cooked breakfast (bacon, sausages, free-range eggs etc) and tea and coffee.

In the evening if you would rather stay in and eat, with prior notice we are happy to provide a candlelit dinner and wine at a reasonable cost.
